| Overview: |
Unions WA is the states peak union body. We are looking for someone who understands where there are opportunities for union growth, and is able to plan to achieve that growth.
|
|
| Job Description: |
We also need sound research to support our campaigns. You should demonstrate high levels of initiative, be able to liaise with a range of stakeholders and have some experience working for a union or community organisation.
It is estimated that 350,000 new jobs will be created in WA over the next ten years. Union growth will be the key to delivering fair outcomes for these as well as existing workers.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
-Experience in the development and implementation of campaign plans.
- Capacity for research into labour market trends and corporate activity.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with affiliated unions and other key stakeholders.
- Commitment to the principles of unionism -Knowledge of issues facing the Australian union movement.
- Written and communication skills

- Experience in the organising approach to unionism.
- Experience using excel and adobe applications.
