The Branch Organisers will work with members, elected officers and other NTEU Staff to lift the presence of the Union so that members can be more actively engaged in determining what is happening to them at their workplace.
Both positions are full-time ongoing positions, with a six month probation period, and involve a mix of organising, administration and industrial duties.
The Griffith University Branch Organiser position will be based at the Branch Office on the Nathan Campus of Griffith University but the appointee will have responsibilities across all Griffith University campuses.
The QUT Branch Organiser will be based at the Branch Office on the Kelvin Grove campus of QUT but the appointee will have responsibilities across all QUT campuses.
In each case it is desirable to have a current Drivers Licence applicable in Queensland.
