The CFMEU (Construction Division) is seeking an Industrial/Legal Officer to join its Industrial staff in the Unions National Office in Sydney.
|
|
| Job Description: |
The new Industrial/Legal Officer will take on a broad range of responsibilities in one of Australias most active, progressive and high-profile trade unions.
Duties will include advising on all aspects of the Fair Work Act, economic/social research, representing the union in its dealings with employers, governments and other bodies and advocacy in the various industrial jurisdictions.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
A background in economics, law and/or industrial relations will be favourably considered, as will some knowledge of, or exposure to, the construction industry.
|

| Salary: |
Subject to negotiation.
|

Additional
Information: |
Some interstate travel will be required.
