The Western Australian Prison Officers Union has a vacancy for an Industrial Officer/Organiser.

WAPOU is a growing union of 1800+ members. Our small team is situated in Mount Lawley but our members are scattered throughout the state.

If you feel you have the experience and ability to meet the criteria, our organisation can provide you with an excellent opportunity, attractive salary and conditions.

We require someone with the following attributes:

Sound working knowledge of the industrial relations system

Excellent communication skills

Dynamic personality

Proven ability with legislation and Award interpretation

Experience in negotiating

Dispute resolution experience

Proven ability in organising

Current WA drivers licence

$60-75k plus car
