| Overview: |
The Australian Salaried Medical Officers Federation is a registered trade union established to promote and service the needs of salaried senior medical practitioners in New South Wales. ASMOF has a vacancy for a part time legal practitioner or a senior industrial advisor (0.8 FTE with an option for full time for the first 12 months) who will be required to contribute in the following areas:
Industrial services to ASMOF members, including advice in relation to awards and agreements, representation in meetings with employers, advocacy in industrial tribunals and general employment advice;
Information services to ASMOF members, including State and Federal newsletters and the ASMOF website; and
Participation in membership recruitment and retention activities.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant relevant experience in industrial relations, familiarity with the NSW / Federal industrial systems, a demonstrated knowledge of the policies and processes associated with workplace relations and management within NSW health organisations, demonstrated computer literacy and current drivers licence.

| Desired: |
Experience in mediating and resolving industrial matters with a clinical/medical workforce.
|
|
| Salary: |
100K pa pro rata
|
|
Additional
Information: |
An attractive remuneration package in excess of 100k pro rata (dependant on level of skills and experience), including private use of a motor vehicle and flexible remuneration packaging, will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
