The MUA has a vacancy for a full-time Office Manager / Personal Assistant to provide office management, secretarial and accounts support for the Western Australian Branch of the Union.

| Job Description: |
Reporting to the Branch Secretary:
Duties include:
Office management including all facets maintaining the building, IT support, logistics of all functions and events held at branch, oversee design, choice and ordering of merchandise.
Provide secretarial & administrative support to Branch Secretary and other Officials and Organisers, including travel arrangements.
Membership management and support.
Accounts and investment support.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
To become part of our small, friendly team in this rewarding and interesting position, you must have previous Office Management and Secretarial experience, advanced MS Office skills, well-developed communication and customer service skills and possess a high attention to detail.
It is essential that applicants share a commitment to the values and principles of the Union movement.

| Desired: |
Knowledge of the Maritime Industry, the MUA and previous exposure to a Union environment are desirable.
