The successful candidates will be an experienced Union organiser or Lead or Senior Organiser (depending on qualifications and experience, and will be responsible for implementing and managing campaigns and related activities as part of national and branch plans.
Senior/Lead Organiser Responsibilities will include:
Planning and managing efficient bargaining practices
Planning, supervising and undertaking a range of systematic contact activities directed to membership growth and development
Developing and managing a small team of organisers
Conducting staff, delegate and member training and development sessions
Organiser Responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking a range of systematic contact activities directed to membership growth and development
- Ensuring delegate and member development, including through training and related activities
- Undertaking bargaining activities
