| Overview: |
The FBEU represents the industrial interests of over 6000 firefighters employed by the NSW Government.
The FBEU requires the services of an Industrial Officer. The successful applicant will conduct negotiations with employers, advocate before industrial tribunals, assist members with enquiries and grievances, liaise with members, provide policy advice, handle disputes and develop industrial instruments.
They will possess excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a small team in a dynamic environment.

| Job Description: |
A sound knowledge of industrial legislation, current industrial relations trends and public sector employment practices would be an advantage. A commitment to the aims of the progressive trade union movement is essential.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Salary: |
In the range of $61,288 pa to $98,582 pa , depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
