National Union of Workers

The NUW is looking for a committed social justice advocate to become an Organiser based in Brisbane, Queensland.

Do you believe in social justice, equality, respect and empowering people?

Are you ready for a job with a difference?

Help create a better working life. Organise workers in the Union and conduct campaigns to represent their interests at their workplaces.

Negotiate with employers on behalf of members. Handle and resolve grievances members have at their workplace.

We are looking for others who:

want to fight to protect and advance the jobs, wages and conditions of workers have the commitment and passion to recruit new members to the NUW and fight for their issues have excellent communication and listening skills have a current drivers licence

To be negotiated.

This is a full-time position.
