Comprehensive understanding of organising theory, strategy and practice and application of the principles and techniques of organising ,ability to develop, implement and analyse organising plans and to manage and prioritise work programs, excellent listening, verbal communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated ability to apply organising communication frameworks, ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of organisers, workplace leaders or activists, ability to conduct successful organising campaigns that build growth and sustainable union structures ability to analyse complex issues/problems and develop strategies to deal with them ability to deal professionally with diverse groups of people, including members, delegates, union officials and employers, enthusiasm, energy and creativity to do a challenging job in a difficult environment.
