| Job Description: |
The role of the Media Officer is to identify media opportunities and initiate coverage, respond to media enquiries and draft media releases, brief and prepare union officers and members for media comment and liaise with journalists and news desks.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Practical knowledge of the media and communications environment. Experience as a journalist, producer or media officer is an advantage. A strong commitment to the Union movement is essential.
|
|
| Salary: |
A salary commensurate with skills and experience will be negotiated.
