Overview:

The NSW Nurses Association is a trade union that represents the industrial, professional and legal interests of nurses and midwives in NSW.

---
Job Description:

We seek a person experienced in collective bargaining campaigning to join a team dedicated to organising for collective agreements for nurses.

This exciting permanent role offers the chance to achieve advances in nurses working conditions, primarily in the new Fair Work laws environment. You will be responsible for:

developing and implementing bargaining plans, working very closely with Industrial Officers establishing & building workplace representative structures around bargaining issues implementing successful member recruitment strategies.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

Demonstrable trade union field organising experience is required, including federal system collective bargaining expertise and a successful track record in membership recruitment.

To be successful in the role it is essential that you are a team player who loves working with people. You must be self-confident, motivated, and a good listener in a complex environment of rapid change.

Commitment to the trade union movement, relevant tertiary qualifications, a current drivers licence and eligibility to obtain a federal right of entry permit is essential.
