National Union of Workers

The NUW is looking for a full-time committed social justice advocate to become an Organiser based in Brisbane, Qld.

Do you believe in social justice, equality, respect and empowering people? Are you ready for a job with a difference?

*Help create a better working life.

*Organise workers in the Union and conduct campaigns to represent their interests at their workplaces.

*Negotiate with employers on behalf of members.

*Handle and resolve grievances members have at their workplace.

We are looking for others who:

*want to fight to protect and advance the jobs, wages and conditions of workers.

*want to lead the fight in organising workers

*have the commitment and passion to recruit new members to the NUW and fight for their issues.

*have excellent communication and listening skills.
