| Job Description: |
The Union is seeking an experienced Prosecutions Officer for a 3 month fixed term contract, with a view to permanency for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Industrial Team Lead, this role is responsible for:
- providing individual members with advice and representation in relevant forums e.g WAIRC, FWA, Conciliation etc
- supporting campaigns of the Union through provision of advice and representation
- supporting enterprise bargaining, planning and negotiation

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
To be successful, you will have:
- relevant IR qualifications and training or practical experience in the field of Industrial relations;
- a sound working knowledge of the industrial relations system, with an ability to prepare and present cases before Fair Work Australia and other tribunals;
- experience preparing for and managing Fair Work Australia and WA Commission proceedings including conciliation and arbitration hearings;
- the ability to provide industrial/legal advice to members, organisers and leadership
- the ability to draft and finalise legal documents
- the ability to negotiate enterprise bargaining agreements on Unions behalf
- excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- proven ability with legislative and Award interpretation and experience.

| Salary: |
Salary is negotiable and dependant on experience and knowledge.
