The Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance (the Alliance) is the union and professional organisation for the people who inform and entertain Australia.
We are currently looking to fill the part-time position of Alliance Inquiry Officer, based in our Federal Office, Sydney.

| Job Description: |
The Alliance Inquiry Desk is the first point of contact for the Alliance, fielding a wide variety of inquiries via phone, email and in person.
Inquiries to the Desk will range from rates of pay and working conditions to giving information and advice on general industry queries and much more inbetween.
|
| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
The applicant must have experience with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Outlook and Excel. A commitment to the union movement along with strong communication skills are crucial. A basic understanding of the Australian industrial relations system is expected.
|

| Desired: |
A knowledge of the Australian media and entertainment industries is desirable as is previous experience working with a trade union.
|
 |
| Salary: |
Negotiable depending on experience and skills
|
 |
Additional Information: |
On the job training provided. Part-Time position with a possibility of developing into a full-time position.
