Job Description:

We have an outstanding opportunity in the Melbourne office for a suitably qualified marketing and events professional. As a Relationship Marketing Manager you will work closely with your team as well as numerous senior stakeholder to implement specific tactics to deliver growth to the firm, as well as building Maurice Blackburn's brand, reputation and key relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

- coordinating and managing firm events including; cocktail functions, seminars, breakfasts, Christmas functions, conferences and union stalls;

- identifying key opportunities to strengthen business relationships with key referral stakeholders, including unions;

- assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans;

- preparing tenders and proposals;

- identifying appropriate strategic sponsorships to maximize sponsor benefits;

- liaising and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders;

- assisting with marketing team projects, as required.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

To succeed in this role, you must be an organised, self-starter with qualifications in marketing or a related discipline and at least 4+ years experience; event management experience will be highly regarded.

You will have excellent communication skills in liaising both internally and externally - including written, oral and interpersonal, have the ability to think strategically in order to forward plan and develop successful marketing plans to deliver on business objectives.

Strong people skills are essential to ensure successful relationships are developed with a broad cross-section of stakeholders (internal and external).
