| Overview: |
This role is for an experienced professional to drive and manage marketing strategy and communication change. APESMA wishes to enhance the voice of its members in key public debate issues including infrastructure, renewable energy, skills shortage and health reform.
This will be a busy, diverse and challenging role incorporating all components of communications, marketing and media and in both a strategic and hands-on capacity.

| Job Description: |
Reporting to the CEOs, you will:
- be responsible for developing APESMA Group communications, both internal and external
- develop and execute a strategic communications and marketing plan, involving innovative web technologies and other delivery solutions
- lead and manage a small team of communications and publications staff and web specialists
- develop campaign strategy and manage media.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
1. Successful leadership experience in communications and/or marketing, as well as a record of achievement in managing and providing strategic and tactical communication outcomes in a complex environment.
2. High level team leadership, liaison and coordination skills, including the ability to build a cohesive, responsive team that delivers excellent services and project outcomes, and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
3. Personal communications and marketing expertise and/or appropriate qualifications, including expertise in practical narrative development, in innovative use of web-based technologies and other contemporary communications platforms, and in database targeting/mining, segmenting and marketing techniques.
4. High level skills in strategic planning, resource management, managing budgets, project and contract management including high level skills in commercial & consultative negotiations.
5. High level strategic campaign and media management experience.
6. Experience in working with managers to resolve high priority, and often sensitive and complex matters, and the ability to work under competing pressures.

$100,000 package, negotiable
