| Job Description: |
This position is located in the ACT Branch of APESMA. The role involves working with members, workplace representatives and workplace leaders to plan and implement campaigns that build the strength of the union and deliver good industrial outcomes. The tasks involved in this include mapping, creating and working to organising plans, developing workplace reps, building sustainable organising structures and recruiting new members. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in Enterprise Bargaining campaigning and negotiations.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Demonstrated commitment to trade union values Previous experience working as an organiser in the union movement Good communication skills including the use of organising frameworks Demonstrated ability to work with and influence members and potential members; including recruiting new members, activists and leaders Ability to work with leaders, reps and members to develop their skills and confidence Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise work Good knowledge of the federal industrial relations system, collective bargaining and individual industrial instruments Computer literacy and keyboard skills Current drivers licence

| Salary: |
Salary by negotiation depending on skills and experience.

Additional Information: |
The successful applicants will need to enjoy working as part of a team and supporting the principles of trade unionism. They will work with an experienced interstate Lead Organiser.
