| Overview: |
AIPA is the industrial and professional association for international airline pilots based in Australia and pilots employed by the Qantas Group. AIPA wishes to employ two Assistant Industrial Advisors to deliver services to its growing membership. One position will be ongoing, whilst the other will be for a fixed period of 12 months, with the possibility of an extension.
Both roles are at an entry level and would suit soon to, or recent, graduates in law and/or industrial relations.

| Job Description: |
The primary purpose of the Assistant Industrial Advisor role is to assist and contribute to AIPAs Industrial Legal Group to achieve positive outcomes for members in the workplace (both collectively and individually) while operating under direction.
The primary purpose will be achieved by developing and utilising dispute resolution skills including the identification of issues, legal research and analysis and providing general assistance to AIPAs Solicitors.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Completion or near completion of an undergraduate degree in Law and/or Industrial Relations.
|

| Desired: |
Practical knowledge of the Australian industrial relations system and processes.
Advocacy experience, or demonstration of the capacity to develop advocacy skills.
High level written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability in legal and/or industrial relations research and an attention to detail.
Driver's licence.

| Salary: |
A competitive salary depending on experience and qualifications is offered. In addition, salary packaging is available together with employer provided secure car parking and close access to Mascot train station.
