Finance Sector Union (Sydney)

The Finance Sector Union is the Union for Australia's bank, insurance, credit union, superannuation and finance industries. We are seeking to appoint a full-time Administrative Officer to work in our National Office in Sydney.

Reporting to the National Directors for Campaign and Bargaining and Organising and Development, the Administrative Officer is responsible for the provision of administrative and industrial support to the National Directors and their respective teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• An understanding and commitment to the principles of organised labour and unionism

• Ability to work under pressure both independently and as part of a team

• Ability to perform work within specified timelines

• Have knowledge and use competently the following programs currently in use by the FSU:

- Microsoft word - Outlook - Access - Excel - Powerpoint - FSU membership system

A salary from $47,446 - $57,345 is offered. The FSU also offers other excellent working conditions including employer superannuation contributions of 15%.
