Overview:

The NSW Nurses Association is seeking applications for Bargaining Campaign Officers to fill two permanent positions within the Strategic Industrial & Bargaining Team.

---
Job Description:

The Bargaining Campaign Officer position is responsible for:

  • Using the organising framework strategically to achieve collective outcomes and agreements
  • Increasing membership density in allocated areas involving and building workplace activist structures during collective bargaining.
  • Identifying and providing development support to workplace delegates and activists during campaigns.
The role is specifically responsible for organising members during all phases of collective bargaining campaigns, from claim development through to successful Agreement approvals.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

To be considered for this role:

  • fulfill the inherent requirements of the position;
  • and you will need superior membership recruitment skills and a demonstrated record of taking responsibility for organising campaigns.
