Overview:

Are you ready to contribute your research and strategic thinking skills to worker driven industry campaigns?

United Voice, one of Australia's largest and most progressive unions, is seeking a committed, energetic and skilled Research Analyst in support of national industry campaign areas.

We are looking for someone who can research and analyse industries, policies, companies, and trends in support of our campaigns to give workers voice and respect, improve their jobs, and help shape industries and change lives.

Applications should demonstrate good research skills, strong organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to trade union values.

Competitive salary and conditions, commensurate with skills and experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Contributing to strategic industry campaigns, including: preparing and analysing data; planning research; generating and answering strategic questions to develop industry analysis; identifying and undertaking corporate outreach opportunities; and working with other members of a campaign team to prepare campaign plans, timelines and activities which integrate research, organising, communications and other areas.

• Mapping, monitoring and analysis of the skills and training and/or licensing industry and regulatory landscape, including trends and policy, and assessing opportunities for engagement to deliver positive industry reforms.

• Attending and represent United Voice on industry and policy advisory boards and committees.

• Preparing briefs, research reports, strategic advice, submissions and articles for publication.
