| Job Description: |
This job is in the Victorian State Office of APESMA. The role involves working with a Lead Organizer and being part of an organizing team. You will also be working with members, workplace representatives and workplace leaders to plan and implement campaigns that build the strength of the union and deliver good industrial outcomes. The tasks involved in this include mapping, creating and working to organising plans, developing workplace reps and leaders, building sustainable organising structures and recruiting new members. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in Enterprise Bargain campaigning and negotiations.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
Demonstrated commitment to trade union values Significant previous experience working as an Organiser in the union movement Excellent communication skills including the use of organising frameworks Very skilled at working with and influencing members and potential members; including recruiting new members, activists and leaders Highly developed ability to work with leaders, reps and members to develop their skills and confidence Demonstrated high level planning skills including the ability to prioritise work Good knowledge of the Federal Industrial Relations system, collective bargaining and individual industrial instruments Computer literacy and keyboard skills Current drivers licence
