An opportunity exists to work as In-House Counsel within the Legal Services division of the Police Association of NSW. This is a permanent full-time position based in the Sydney CBD and the successful applicant will have a minimum 5 years PAE with an unrestricted practicing certificate.

| Job Description: |
The position requires a person capable of managing high profile workloads with experience in employment, industrial relations and ADR processes. Demonstrated advocacy experience including appearance at the Industrial Relations Commission (NSW) and Workers Compensation Commission is essential. A good working knowledge of the Industrial Relations Act, Workers Compensation Act/Workplace Injury Management Act, Police Act and Police Regulations (Superannuation) Act is also a prerequisite.

The duties require the successful applicant to work closely with a small group of dedicated lawyers to provide legal advice, advocate and negotiate of behalf of the Union in various jurisdictions.
