Applications are now open for the 2012 Unions Summer Internship Program. Union Summer is a three week internship program run from Monday 30th January - Friday 17th February 2012 by Unions NSW. Successful interns are placed with a trade union for three weeks, and are provided with training and a diverse experience of what it is like to work for a union.

| Job Description: |
The Union Summer program is aimed at people interested in workers' rights and social justice, who would like to find out more about how unions work and how to become involved in making Australia a better place for working people and their families.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Desired: |
There are no prerequisites for the internship, however experience in union, community, social justice or student activism is desirable.
The internship includes three days of training provided by Unions NSW. Successful applicants will be a placed in a union and mentored by a union official
|

| Salary: |
There is an allowance paid to all successful applicants.
