The Finance Sector Union, is seeking to employ 2 Organisers for our Victorian/Tasmanian Branch based in Melbourne.
|

| Job Description: |
The Organiser will be responsible for encouraging workers to join the Union and act collectively for better working conditions. You will do this by visiting workplaces, recruiting members and workplace leaders and developing their confidence and skills.
Applicants will have:
- A commitment to and enthusiasm for trade unionism
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- An ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of contemporary industrial relations issues and practices and industry or trade union experience will be highly regarded.

| Experience & Qualifications |
| Essential: |
No formal qualifications are required, but previous experience in a similar role, or as a union delegate would be an advantage.
|

| Salary: |
A salary from $53,809 is offered with increase up to $62,884 with experience and qualifications. The FSU also offers other excellent working conditions including employer superannuation contributions of 15%.
