Overview:

The NSW Nurses Association seeks an experienced union Organiser or a campaigner to join a team dedicated to organising for collective agreements for nurses.

---
Job Description:

The Collective Bargaining Campaign Officer position is responsible for:

  • using the organising framework strategically to achieve collective outcomes and agreements.

  • increasing membership density in allocated areas.

  • involving and building workplace activist structures during collective bargaining.

  • identifying and providing development support to workplace delegates and activists during campaigns.

  • You will be specifically responsible for organising campaigns with particular groups of members, from claim development through to successful Agreement approvals.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

you will need to fulfill the inherent requirements of the position - these requirements are outlined in Point 2 (Specify critical competence (skills) requirements for this position) of the Position Description for the Bargaining Campaign Officer ; and

you will need superior membership recruitment skills and a demonstrated record of taking responsibility for organising campaigns.
