United Voice, one of Australia's largest and most progressive unions, is seeking a committed, energetic and highly organised person with impressive organising skills to play a key role in coordinating a national industry organising campaign.

Job Description:

The role would be initially based in the Property Service team. The National Campaign Lead works as part of a national campaign team in Property Services, along with Lead organisers and organising teams around the country to deliver on campaign goals.

United Voice national campaigns aim to give workers voice, respect, improve their jobs, help shape their industries and change their lives. Leading such a campaign is very rewarding.

Applications must demonstrate previous experience in leading great campaigns, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a strong commitment to trade union values.

The position is based in Sydney, and involves considerable interstate travel.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

Applications should address the following selection criteria:

1. Demonstrated high level organising skills

2. Previous success in leading organising teams including planning team work, briefing and debriefing team members, monitoring team outcomes and taking corrective action as necessary

3. Ability to develop and manage the implementation of a national organising campaign

4. Strong strategic and analytical ability, and ability to utilise relevant IT applications

5. Capacity to work effectively as a member of a national campaign team

6. Knowledge and theory of workers' movements
