The Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance is the professional organisation and trade union for the media, entertainment and arts industries. It represents actors, journalists and entertainment industry employees and has over 20,000 members.
With the needs of performer members front of mind the Director, Equity will build power at work for the people who inform and entertain Australia and New Zealand. The Director, Equity will take responsibility for developing and coordinating the campaigning, industrial and organising work across the Equity section of the Alliance.
Ideally you have experience in and an understanding of cultural industries, with the skills and initiative to negotiate outcomes, plan policy, industrial and legal campaigns, manage staff and foster relations with other leaders and stakeholders of the organisation.
