The Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance is the professional organisation and trade union for the media, entertainment and arts industries. It represents actors, journalists and entertainment industry employees and has over 20,000 members. This role reports to the Federal Secretary and will ideally be based in Sydney but flexible for the right candidate.
Engaging and empowering key stakeholders you will lead and develop all strategy and planning, ensuring organisational excellence required to best represent members and meet the future needs, mission and values of the Alliance. You will manage all resources, virtual and physical, with a focus on workforce strategies, third party contractors, information resources, technology, property and internal support structures. Working with the Financial Controller you will oversee and manage national budgets.
You have extensive experience in general management, executive or COO level roles, with relevant tertiary qualifications. You can demonstrate your expertise delivering complex commercial and social human resources outcomes.
