Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance

The Alliance is looking to fill the position of Organiser for our Western Australian branch.

The position will be part-time (4 days a week) based in our Perth Office.

The successful applicant will undertake a range of work recruiting and organising members across our industries. They will be expected to coordinate industrial campaigns and conduct enterprise bargaining negotiations.

The Organiser will also participate in a team environment using communication and information systems appropriately to contribute to the strategic growth of the Union and its members.

A commitment to the ideals of trade unionism is essential. The applicant must also demonstrate ablities in recruitment, organising, communication and negotiation.

Relevant industry qualifications and experience is expected, along with a broad understanding of Alliance industries, current legislation, policy, industrial relations and industrial instruments.

Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
