The NTEU Victorian Division is seeking applications for the full-time position of Division Organiser with primary responsibility in the first instance for the Deakin University Branch and the expectation of substantial work at the university's Geelong and Warrnambool campuses.
The National Tertiary Education Union (Victorian Division) covers nearly 10,000 members employed in universities, associated companies, research institutes, TAFE, student unions and adult and community education. The Unions membership includes Academic, General, Research and Professional staff.

| Job Description: |
The successful applicant will be responsible, with other staff and delegates, for organising, campaign, representation, and administrative tasks and projects in university and related workplace. The position will work directly with the elected branch officers and committee, the Victorian Division and National Office staff and officers. The position will report to the Branch Executive and the Victorian Division Secretary.

| Essential: |
Previous organising experience.

| Salary: |
Remuneration is within the range $64,640 - $69,888 + 17% employer superannuation contributions.
